The actress recently made her headlines for her special performance in the upcoming film with Mammootty titled as 'Madhura Raja'. Apart from her, the film stars Tamil actor Jai, Anushree, Mahima Nambiar, Ramesh Pisharody. It is slated to release on April 12, 2019.

Meanwhile, talking about the film, ‘Madhura Raja’ brings back Mammootty’s character of a don from the 2010 hit ‘Pokkiri Raja’ also starring Prithviraj and Shriya Saran and which was later adapted for Akshay Kumar’s ‘Boss.’ However, this is not a sequel.

Like the original, one can see Nedumudi Venu boasting about his son coming to his rescue in a crisis while Siddique and other cops are among the troublermakers. Unlike Prithviraj-Shriya, it is Jai-Mahima Nambiar who are under threat and Mammootty is there to protect everyone. However, the main plot revolves around Mammootty’s face-off with a politician played by Jagapati Babu.
