'Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi' has been riddled with controversies ever since the film released. The ongoing conflict between Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut and director Krish owing to the credits for the film is making the headlines lately.
Krish, the former director of the project, complained that lead actress Kangana, who took up the role of the director of the project after Krish left the project, took the first credit as director, although he shot the majority of the film. However, his demand has been ridiculed by Kangana's team who said that he is a mere opportunist who is trying to claim the success of the film.
Several celebrities have extended their opinion on the same, while some came in support of the director saying he should get his deserving credit, others are of the opinion that Kangana deserves the lead credit for captaining the ship when Krish left the film in the middle of its making.
However, the 'Queen' actress seems to be completely unaffected by the ongoing row as she was seen enjoying skiing with her sister Rangoli Chandel. In a recent video shared by Rangoli in Twitter, Kangana can be seen skiing on the snow-clad mountains and the very clip proves that he is a pro at it. She can be seen wearing white ski-costumes as she smiles at the camera. Sharing the video on Thursday, January 31, Rangoli captioned it saying, "Jealous people can take a seat, Queen is slaying like only she can ... "
Here's the post:
Previously, Rangoli Chandel took a strong stand for her sister and lashed out against director Krish on social media after he claimed that 'Manikarnika' is 'his baby'. In a series of tweets, Rangoli claimed that Krish has done everything in order to ruin the film, and did not let even the assistant director from the previous team to work with Kangana Ranaut.
'Manikarnika' was one of the most anticipated films of 2019, and the period drama is based on the life and struggles of Rani Lakshmibai of Jhansi and her war against the British East India Company, during the Indian Rebellion of 1857. Apart from Kangana Ranaut the film also stars Atul Kulkarni, Suresh Oberoi, Danny Demzongpa, Jisshu Sengupta and Ankita Lokhande, in pivotal roles. The film that released on January 25, has been currently riding high on success. It has collected over Rs. 60 crore at the Box Office in a week.
