Ahead of the release of the much-anticipated patriotic film 'India's Most Wanted', Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor started a social media campaign to give a shout-out to the Indian armed forces. The actor on Wednesday shared a post on Instagram urging fans and his fellow B-towners to take out some time to pay tribute to the unsung heroes.

Putting forward his plea with a video of himself, he wrote, "India's Most Wanted is our tribute to the unsung heroes. Aur ab hum chahte hai ki aap yaani ki har ek hindustani apne dil se unko salaam kare. Upload kijiye apna salaam by saying Vande Mataram !!! I request & urge @anilskapoor @varundvn@kritisanon to continue this salute & tag their friends & family to take it forward... #VandeMataram@rajkumargupta08 @foxstarhindi@raapchik_films #IndiasMostWanted"

Following the same, actor Varun Dhawan responded to his request and put out a video on Instagram on Thursday, May 16.

Giving a huge shoutout to the initiative taken by Arjun, he can be heard saying, "Thank you Arjun for reminding me that there is no special day or theme needed to thank our heroes. Especially our unsung heroes, our heroes who remain undercover, who help us remain a democratic country. Today I should say, a big thank you to you guys, Jai Hind. Vande Mataram."

He further extended the request and tagged his 'Street Dancer' co-star, Shraddha Kapoor, and director Remo D'Souza. 

"#Vandemataram we don’t need a special day to thank our heroes we are always indebted to them. Great idea @arjunkapoor best of luck for the film. I tag @raghavjuyal @remodsouza@shraddhakapoor" he wrote in the post.

Claimed to be based on true events, Arjun Kapoor's 'India's Most Wanted' is an untold story of the manhunt for a terrorist, who was detained without firing a single bullet. It is helmed and co-produced by filmmaker Rajkumar Gupta who has previously directed critically acclaimed films like 'No One Killed Jessica' and 'Raid'.

This is going to be the first time, Arjun Kapoor will be seen playing the role of an intelligence officer on the silver screen. The actor announced the making of the film on August 11, last year. It is scheduled to hit the theatres on May 24.
