Shahid Kapoor who is currently shooting for the 'Arjun Reddy' remake 'Kabir Singh' is now one of the biggest stars in B-town. However, one thing he has always been is really close to his family, especially his mother Neelima Azeem. Now, in an old video that surfaced on social media, the actor's mother recalls a time when the 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu' actor displayed the finest form of chivalry.
At a talk show, Neelima revealed that there was a time when a small French man was following her around, presumably a stalker. However, she disclosed that when he tried to come up and talk to her, Shahid who was only six years old at the time came in between and simply said, "Excuse me, sir, before talking to her you have to deal with me." The video then follows the mother and son laughing as they recall the old incident.
Well, it is amazing to see this chivalrous and protective side of the 'Padmaavat' actor which is still evident to this day, for he is super protective about his little girl Misha. In the meantime, the actor has been spotted in New Delhi shooting for the Sandeep Vanga directorial with his co-star Kiara Advani.
'Kabir Singh' as a project was officially announced on October 26, 2018, and that the film will come out on June 21, 2019. Director Sandeep Vanga, who directed the Vijay Devarakonda starrer was roped in to direct the Hindi remake as well, which makes it his big Bollywood debut after making just one film in Tollywood.
