What to look forward to in Hrithik Roshan's 'Krrish 4'?

Hrithik Roshan first starred in the Krrish franchise in 2006 and was a big success. With Krrish 4 already in the works, here is what to look forward to.

The first instalment of Krrish came out in 2006 and was a huge success at the box office for Hrithik Roshan. The passion project of the father-son duo, Krrish 4, was in the works and had to be put on hold since Hrithik's father Rakesh Roshan had to undergo surgery after being diagnosed with cancer early in January. Hrithik Roshan had recently opened up about his father's condition stating he now feels better and shall be soon returning to direct Krrish 4.

Who could be the next villain in Krrish 4?

Hrithik Roshan had been cast in the lead role in the earlier instalments of the Krrish franchise. At the time of the announcement, it was being suggested that the actor was reportedly keen to explore both the protagonist and antagonist at the same time and the project served the perfect opportunity to do so. However, it is still not clear if Hrithik will indeed essay the roles of both a protagonist and an antagonist in this film.

Here is what to expect:

An official announcement on Krrish 4 will be made next month. Although some details are yet to be announced, it is reported that it will be an out-of-the-box concept this time; something that no one has seen before. Fans are very excited about the release.

In the meantime, Hrithik Roshan is basking in the success of the mystery-thriller, War. The film released last month and also starred Tiger Shroff in the lead. It is now set to cross the ₹ 300 crore mark in India after Salman Khan's Tiger Zinda Hai, which came out two years ago.

Other major projects:

As for his other major project, it was speculated that Hrithik Roshan will begin shooting for the Satte Pe Satta remake alongside Anushka Sharma. It is a collaboration of Rohit Shetty and Farah Khan and is titled Seven. The original film was directed by Raj Sippy and saw Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role. It is still not clear if Hrithik Roshan will take up the role in this film, as according to a source, the actor was not happy with the script and had requested some changes before considering the role.
