Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt has finally wrapped up the shooting for her upcoming film 'Kalank'. The actress on Sunday, January 20, she penned an emotional note reminiscing the long journey of the shooting of the film. Sharing a picture with her co-star Aditya Roy Kapur and director Abhishek Verman, the actress wrote, "KALANK has wrapped but the heart is still wide open!! For those who understand it and for those who don’t.. when you wrap a film it feels like a part of you just combusts.. especially when you’ve worked with your friends and family.. Crossing our fingers and toes for the journey ahead.. Can't wait for you guys to see the visuals.. 💫🌟🌞 ❤️"

Previously, Alia had shared a picture with her another co-star Varun Dhawan as he wrapped shooting for 'Kalank'. The actress who debuted in the industry alongside Varun in 'Student of the Year' is all set to share screen space with the actor for the fourth time in the upcoming venture after 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania' and 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania'. Alia shared a monochrome picture with Varun and penned a long note for him saying,  "And it’s a film wrap for Varun on KALANK. Our 4th film completed together and he still manages to surprise me with his hard work and crazy energy every day.. Also manages to make me laugh like a crazy person by just being himself. I can’t can’t can’t wait for you guys to see the stuff he’s done with his character in the film!!!! 🙌💫⭐️ 💃🏻🌞#KALANK"

The multi-starrer venture 'Kalank' which marks the directorial debut of Abhishek Verman features Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Madhuri Dixit, Sonakshi Sinha, Kunal Khemu, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Sanjay Dutt in lead roles. The period drama will be set in the 1940s and will be jointly produced by Karan Johar, Sajid Nadiadwala, and Fox Star Studios. It is all set to hit the theatres on April 19, 2019.
