In his almost two-decade career, Yuvraj Singh has been one of the biggest stalwarts in Indian cricket. After the 'MS Dhoni' biopic that released in 2016, fans around the world are eagerly waiting for a film on the life of the 2011 World Cup hero. As the veteran all-rounder announced his retirement from International Cricket on Monday, he also opened up about his plans to document his journey in the Indian Cricket team.

During the media interaction, the 37 years old cricketer confirmed that the biopic is in talks, however, he could not give many details about the same. Yuvraj said he is giving some serious thought to his autobiography and a film might follow soon after.

When asked about which actor he would choose to portray him on-screen, Yuvraj said that he would like to play himself in the biopic. Funnily hinted at his plans to make a Bollywood debut, the Cricketer said, "I think I should play myself" to which the anchor added, "if Brad Pitt is not available."

Further talking about documenting his 19 years long journey, he said that he will be able to make absolute peace with his career once he relays the story of his life.

"The autobiography or the biopic or documentary, whatever is in the store, once I relay the story of my life I will definitely make peace with it," Yuvraj said while speaking to Republic TV.

Meanwhile, Yuvraj's wife actress Hazel Keech has a different pick for the role and interestingly, he is no one from Bollywood. The 'Bodyguard' actress said she wants 'GOT' actor Kit Harington to take up the role.

When asked the question, Hazel answered saying, "That guy from 'Game of Thrones'- Jon Snow... I'd pick Kit Harrington to play him."

Yuvraj, who is recognized as one of world cricket's iconic players ended his "rollercoaster" career with the official announcement on Monday. He was accompanied by his wife and mother at a plush South Mumbai hotel where he addressed the media.

"After 25 years, I have decided to move on. Cricket has given me everything and is the reason why I stand here today." the all-rounder said during his retirement speech.

Yuvraj was recently seen in action in the IPL where he was a part of the victorious Mumbai Indians squad. Barring his half-century in the first game, he could not make much of an impact as he was benched after four games.

Yuvraj's stellar all-around performances helped India win the World Cup after a long wait of 28 years. He finished as the 'Player of the Tournament' with 362 runs and 15 scalps in that showpiece event. The veteran all-rounder had stitched a match-winning 74-run stand with Suresh Raina against the mighty Australians in the quarterfinal after India had suffered a top-order collapse. His unbeaten 57 not only helped India reach the semis but also ended Australia's 12-year reign as the World Champions.
