Looks like Bollywood director and producer Karan Johar is super excited about his upcoming ventures. The filmmaker on Wednesday, November 21, took to Instagram and shared his 'filmmaker look' where he can be seen all suited up carrying a serious look. He captioned the picture as saying, "The non-pout serious look! It’s my filmmaker look! Am working on it for 2019! Wish me luck!"

The filmmaker has a number of projects in the pipeline including Sushant Singh Rajput and Jacqueline Fernandez starrer 'Drive', Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan starrer 'Simmba'. 'Kesari',  'Kalank', 'Student of the Year 2' and 'Brahmastra' are staled for 2019 release.

Moreover, earlier this year, the producer also announced a war epic film 'Takht' and announced the initial cast of the film. The multi starer venture will feature Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Janhvi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor. This would be the first time that Karan Johar will be trying his hand at directing an epic. The film is anticipated to hit the theatres in 2020.

Meanwhile, Karan Johar is also hosting season six of his chat show 'Koffee With Karan'. The show kick-started on October 21 and hosted several celebrity pairs including- Alia Bhatt and Deepika Padukone, Akshay Kumar and Ranveer Singh, Saif Ali Khan and daughter Sara Ali Khan among others. Recently, Johar announced that Bachchan siblings- Abhishek Bachchan and Shweta Bachchan Nanda and Ajay Devgn and Kajol will be the next to grace the couch in the chat show. He is also serving as a judge along with Malaika Arora, Kirron Kher, in television series 'India's Got Talent'.  Recently, he also served as a host for the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa on November 20.
