In the letter, she writes about what it is to be a woman in today’s world and what kind of hardships will her daughter have to face.

She starts off by praying that by the time her daughters go out into the world to make their own lives, it will be a new and modern time when none judge on the basis if nationality, race and gender. However, until then, Farah believes that she can only lead by example.

She hopes that her daughters are aware that their parents have never discriminated between their son, Czar and them. In fact, Czar sometimes gets the brunt of being the only boy, she adds.

While specifically addressing Anya, Farah tells her that she is aware of how she keeps an account of how many playdates and sleepovers Czar gets to go on. Following which, she demands for an equal number as well. While Farah may come across as irritated by this, in reality, she is actually quite proud as she is not afraid to demand her share.
