'Yash And Yash And Now I Have One More At Home!' Karan Johar Remembers His Father and Uncle With A Throwback Post

Bollywood actor Karan Johar remembered father Yash Johar and uncle Yash Chopra on Wednesday, December 19. He took to Instagram and shared a throwback picture where the filmmakers can be seen posing with a wide smile on their face. Karan, who has named his son 'Yash' as well, said that he is honoured to have been parented and schooled by these wonderful men and that he hopes to parent and school his son Yash with the same energy and love.

In the Instagram post, he wrote, "Yash and Yash and now I have one more at home!! Am honoured to have been parented and schooled by these wonderful men and I hope I can parent and school my Yash with the same energy and love! #throwback ❤️🙏❤️"

Karan Johar is known to be very close to his twins- Yash and Roohi. He often posts their pictures and videos on social media to keeps his fans updated with their day to day activities.   

Meanwhile, on the work front, the filmmaker, who has now descended his father's Dharma Productions is riding high on success with back to back hit ventures. He has a number of films in the pipeline for release including 'Kesari',  'Kalank', 'Student of the Year 2' and 'Brahmastra' which are slated for a 2019 release.

Moreover, earlier this year, the producer announced a war epic film 'Takht'. The multi starer venture will feature Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Janhvi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor. This would be the first time that Karan Johar will be trying his hand at directing an epic. The film is anticipated to hit the theatres in 2020.

Meanwhile, he is also hosting season six of his chat show 'Koffee With Karan'. The show kick-started on October 21 and hosted several celebrity pairs including- Alia Bhatt and Deepika Padukone, Akshay Kumar and Ranveer Singh, Saif Ali Khan and daughter Sara Ali Khan among others.
