Tanushree Dutta, who became the torchbearer of the Me Too movement in the country has since been fighting many battles on the media and legal front. Recently, she had responded to Rakhi Sawant's accusations against her and called it an attempt to degrade her image. After filing an official FIR more than a month ago, she had also lodged a complaint against Nana Patekar in National Commission for Women. Nana had even responded to the commission stating that these allegations were false. Now, it looks the actress has had a fallout with the organisation.

Tanushree released a statement expressing her frustration on how the commission is treating the case. Asking what was the need for further interrogation she said, "The woman's commission was sent a copy of my FIR immediately after it was lodged. An FIR is a detailed minute by minute account of what transpired in my case. So when I read reports that the women's commission  needs to know in 'detail' of what happened I feel like they should stop bullshitting. It cannot get more detailed than an official FIR."

She further pressed, "What is the purpose of calling me to the commission?? To further harass me?? Can't my authorised advocates take care of those formalities?? I have already said what I had to and lodged an FIR. Also ever since I've raised my voice I've been the one going through all the hassle. This is the reason that in our country girls avoid reporting harassment or abuse of any kind as they are further subjected to hassle and scrutiny by public, police, law and order and the so-called women's organisations who need more 'details'."

"They have all the details they need and now they need to take action. Why don't the women's commission call Nana,Ganesh,Sami and Rakesh Sarang to appear before them?? I never had much hope from neither women's commission nor the law enforcement in this country. If the legendary Bhanwari Devi who was gang-raped by 4 men 30 years ago in Rajasthan is still waiting for justice, my harassment case is probably just a way for these institutions to show ppl that they exist."

Then venting out about the alleged hypocrisy in the system, she added, "In truth, This country that worships goddesses also opresses the very essence of the divine feminine that manifests in human form. A bunch of corrupt, lawless hypocrites!! Nothing can ever change here unless the people and their mindset change. Anyways I've been hearing strong rumours that Nana has been paying and buying off various people to shove everything under the carpet, keep me busy fighting unnecessary allegations, drag it, delay it waiting for me to leave India so this whole matter can be behind him."

Finally, she openly called out Nana Patekar and said, "Nana, you and your friends will pay for the  audacity and arrogance  in one way or another. Justice will be divinely ordained and orchestrated!! Watch it!"

Well, it looks like actress really means business and with this update, the case has taken a surprising turn. It remains to be seen if Nana or the makers of 'Horn Ok Pleassss' will respond to it or not.
