Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor remembered uncle Raj Kapoor on his 94th birth anniversary on Friday, December 14. He took to Instagram and shared a heartwarming throwback video to pay tribute to the legendary actor. In the video, 'the greatest showman of Hindi cinema' can be seen speaking about his favorite film. When asked which of his films is his favorite, he says like a mother cannot distinguish between her children, he also cannot choose one of his films over others. All of them are important to him in its own way. However, narrowing down his idea, the actor further stated that his hit films are appreciated by all, but the films which fail to succeed are the ones which come close to his heart. 

Anil Kapoor captioned the Instagram post saying, "They say you don’t cherish a moment until it becomes a memory. Today on Raj Uncle’s birth anniversary, I can recall so many such moments... Krishna Raj Kapoor according to me is the best hostess of our industry... she always celebrated this day with so much love, style & grace. Some of the best days of my life were in Deonar Chembur with them. Really miss those days and both of them..."

Raj Kapoor, who was one of the pioneers of the Bollywood's Kapoor family is regarded as one of the greatest and most influential actors and filmmakers in the history of cinema. He has performed is several iconic Bollywood films including  'Awaara' (1951) and 'Boot Polish' (1954) that gathered international recognition. He has been bestowed with several prestigious awards including the Padma Bhushan in 1971 and the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 1987. In fact, the Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award is named after the legendary actor.

Meanwhile, Anil Kapoor was last featured in 2018 venture 'Fanney Khan' along with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Rajkummar Rao. He has a couple of films in the pipeline including 'Total Dhamaal' and 'Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga', which are slated for 2019 release.
