Anil Kapoor and daughter Sonam Kapoor will be seen together on the big screen for the first time in 'Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga'. Also starring Rajkummar Rao, Juhi Chawla among others, the film's trailer has really raised a lot of curiosity. Interestingly, the film's title track, which is inspired by a song in Manisha Koirala's 1942: A Love Story has also been getting a lot of love. Now, the film's music composer Rochak Kohli revealed what really went behind in the making of the number and what was Anil Kapoor's hand in it.
Rochak explained that the track that is out now is actually the 12th revised version of the song. He disclosed that Anil and producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra actually made him rework on the track eleven times before they were satisfied. He also revealed how they decided to remake this song in the first place, which was a suggestion from director Shelly Chopra Dhar.
Kohli also pointed out that in order to keep things fresh, they only kept the main line from the original number and completely changed everything else. Not only that, but they also infused Punjabi elements into the track keeping in tune with the location the film is set in. At the very least, it was a revelation that veteran actor Anil Kapoor is also involved in the musical side of things, showing how passionate he is about the film.
Recently, he also took to Twitter to promote the film in the most unique manner. Starting off the #EkLadkiKoDekhaTohAisaLaga challenge, he had nominated other celebs to share their similar versions and the trend has since gone viral on social media.
