Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Zero’ had an unimpressive opening weekend, according to a trade report. After collecting Rs 20.14 crore on an opening day, the SRK-Anushka Sharma-Katrina Kaif love triangle witnessed a drop of almost 10% on day two, earning Rs 18.22 crore on day one, with the total standing at Rs 38.36 on day two. And, now a report from Taran Adarsh suggests that the film has 'underperformed' on the opening weekend, and earned a total of Rs 59.07 crores.

Not just the reviews from critics, even audiences have been divided on their opinion of the movie and that could be the reason for the collections not being up to the mark.
The much anticipated Bollywood venture 'Zero' starring Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma marked a grand release on Friday, December 21. The Aanand L. Rai directorial revolves around a vertically challenged man named Bauua Singh, who dreams of dating a superstar (Katrina). It features Anushka as a NASA scientist suffering Cerebral palsy.
'Zero' is scripted by Himanshu Sharma and jointly produced by the director, Gauri Khan and Karuna Badwal. The movie also stars Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Sheeba Chaddha, Brijendra Kala, among others, apart from cameos from Abhay Deol and R Madhavan and has been produced by SRK and Aanand L Rai's banners Red Chillies Entertainment and Colour Yellow Productions.
