'Zero' VS 'Simmba': The Ranveer Singh starrer beats Shah Rukh Khan's film in just four days in box office collections

From the box office reports, one can say that the Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan starrer  is a complete winner at the box office. The film has maintained a very strong hold even after the opening weekend and has minted a total collection of Rs 96.35 crore at the box office.

The film was appreciated by the audience and the critics. Reportedly, the film raced ahead of 'Zero' too and minted the Shah Rukh Khan starrer's two-week collection in just four days, thus becoming a massive hit. One can say that as 'Simmba' released on 28th December, it reaped the benefits of 1st December 2018 and 1st January 2019.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the box office collection of Simmba. He tweeted, “#Simmba ends 2018 on a thunderous note… Records superb numbers on Mon [31 Dec]… Will continue its victory march today [1 Jan]… It’s #Simmba wave at the BO… Fri 20.72 cr, Sat 23.33 cr, Sun 31.06 cr, Mon 21.24 cr [better than Fri]. Total: ₹ 96.35 cr. India biz.”

Simmba ' is directed by Rohit Shetty which is an official adaptation of Jr NTR-starrer Telugu film 'Temper'. It narrates the story of a corrupt cop Simmba who belongs to the same town of DCP Bajirao Singham. He enjoys being a corrupt cop and takes full advantage of its lifestyle until one day his loved ones are abused.
