Angelina Jolie on how she felt after sending son Maddox to college

Hollywood A-lister, Angelina Jolie, recently talked about life as a parent and about how feelings after she sent her son, Maddox, away to college. During an interview with an international media outlet, Mr. and Mrs. Smith's actor stated how happy and proud she was to send her son off to Yonsei University in South Korea. 

A motherly feeling

Jolie further added that she was full of excitement as the world grew bigger as her son stepped out into the real world. She said that there was always something to learn from children as it is always different with every kid. 

Angelina also said that this event was that one moment in her life wherein she looked back at her son multiple times before she actually left the airport. She also said that Maddox did not enter the airport and kept on waving back because he somehow knew that his mother would turn back to look at him.

An appalling revelation

Meanwhile, Angelina Jolie, a special envoy for the UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees) asked the world to provide more support to the country of Venezuela, where the number of migrants has increased to over 4 million. She further added that the conditions of these refugees are dire as the UNHCR has only received a trickle of the funds it actually needs in order to ensure smooth living conditions for the displaced people.

The Hollywood actor also said that a lot of countries receiving meager funds are also trying to balance out the situations with resources that are not all-sufficient for a smooth flow. Despite this, the requests are not being met to keep up with a new set of refugees coming in and still they are trying to do everything in their best capacity. She further added that Columbia has still kept its doors open for the needy coming in from other places by providing them with food, water, and health care facilities.
