With the growing craze, over the past years, GOT got engaged in all kinds of weird partnerships. Now as Season 8 kicks off, let's take a look at some of the weirdest brand tie-ins of the much-celebrated series. 

Whiskey

There has been plenty of drinking in the GOT universe. Referring to the same, liquor brand Johnny Walker came up with an all-time great brand partnership and introduced its limited edition bottle of White Walker midst the hype gap before Season 8. The walker's eyes turn icy blue when it's sufficiently chilled, and you can find specific cocktail recipes by Gabe Orta on the website.

Mountain Dew

As winter has finally come to Westeros, not only alcoholic drinks but also the soft drinks companies have joined the party. Recently, cold-drink brand Mountain Dew re-introduced its limited edition cans. Mountain Dew seems to have paid its tribute to the Iron throne launching - 'A Can Has No Name', ahead of the release of Season 8. Dubbing its purpose #FortheThrone, the soft drink giant has harnessed the GOT fandom releasing its limited edition white coloured cans. These can when chilled, reveal a series of names of the characters from the Game of Thrones, some being crossed indicting a deceased character from the 'Kill-list' of Arya Stark- a show favourite.

In one of the quirkiest collaborations, Cosmetics company Urban Decay has launched it's 'For the Throne' collection launches right along with the Season 8 premiere. Bringing the touch of Winter in its summer collection it has introduced looks inspired by the major houses of Westeros and the White Walkers. The products include eyeshadow palette, highlighter, Dracarys Lip & Cheek Stain, and brushes.

Monopoly

With a very intense and complex plot, 'Game of Thrones' is hard to miss. Now, several toy companies have brought the game on-board by introducing 'Game of Thrones' Monopoly. American toy and board game company Hasbro has launched its GOT Monopoly which is now available in several online shopping platforms. It even comes with a card that plays the theme song on a loop to give players the chills of the preceding 'Winter'.

Oreo

Famous cookie brand Oreo has introduced a special line-up 'For the Throne'. Recently, in a short video resembling the GOT theme, Oreo teased, "Cookies are coming".

Although Jewellery and clothing do exist in GOT, Sneakers are nowhere in the Thrones universe.  However, a men's contemporary fashion brand has introduced new Sneakers dedicating to the series and its details connecting to the same have been widely admired by the fans.
