Alert Marvel fans! An exciting update on Marvel's upcoming film 'Captain Marvel' might be up on the Internet anytime. Finally kick-starting the promotional campaign officially, Brie Larson, the lead actress of upcoming Marvel Studios' Fantasy drama, teased that she and Entertainment Weekly will be "breaking the Internet" with some news tomorrow. Larson took to Twitter on Wednesday, September 5, and wrote, "Hey @EW I’m bored. Wanna break the Internet tomorrow?"
Entertainment Weekly responded to her tweet, hinting that the surprise will be revealed at 12 PM EST. They have also provided a clue that its a date, however, not specifying anything in details.

The tweet has immediately grabbed the attention of the Marvel fans. The news of the release of something potentially strong enough to break the internet has left the netizens curious. While there are a lot of speculations as to what exactly will be revealed, the rumours of the release of the film's first trailer are doing rounds.
With 'Captain Marvel', the 'Kong: Skull Island' star will mark her debut as the superhero character. Set in a backdrop of 1990's the film features a female superhero, Captain Marvel, who gains her superpowers in order to save the Earth which is caught in the centre of an intergalactic conflict between two alien worlds. The movie will be an introductory movie to the character, Captain Marvel who will also be featured in Marvel's next untitled Avengers movie. The American superhero flick based on the Marvel Comics is going to be the twenty-first film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. They had announced Captain Marvel's entry in the Avenger's series in the last part of 'Avengers: Infinity War' where they confirmed her role in the fourth instalment of the Avengers series.
Jointly directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, the movie stars Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Djimon Hounsou, Lee Pace, Lashana Lynch, Gemma Chan, Algenis Perez Soto, Rune Temte, Mckenna Grace, Clark Gregg and Jude Law. Larson's casting as Captain Marvel was announced at the 2016 San Diego Comic-Con International, making it Marvel Studios' first female-led solo film. However, a film based on the comic character was announced long back in May 2013. Initially, the movie was staled to release on October 2014, but it got delayed and now the film is scheduled to release on March 8, 2019.
