Most children dream of gaining superpowers and saving the world but actress Brie Larson is one of the many who managed to make it come true through her role in the upcoming superhero film 'Captain Marvel'. The actress who is playing the titular character in Marvel's upcoming venture seems to be hit by nostalgia as she remembers her childhood days of aspiring to be a superhero. Marking the release of the trailer of her first superhero film 'Captain Marvel', Larson on Tuesday, September 18, took to Twitter and shared a poster of 'Captain Marvel' and wrote, "Look, Mom, I'm a superhero. #CaptainMarvel".

Marvel Entertainment released the trailer of 'Captain Marvel' along with an official poster on Tuesday, September 18, 2018. The most anticipated Avenger's sequel narrates the origin story of Captain Marvel who is scheduled to join the Avengers squad in the upcoming Avenger's sequel. 

'Captain Marvel' is the first female-lead movie under the banner of Marvel and is also one of the strongest superheroes of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The character of Captain Marvel was introduced in the end-credits scene of 'Avengers: Infinity War'. However, she was physically not seen, and it was just her logo that assured her appearance in the upcoming Avengers sequel. The officially untitled venture which is rumoured to be titled 'Avengers: End Game' is scheduled to release on May 3, 2019.

The trailer takes us to the flashback journey of the title character, Carol Danvers, played by Larson; as she discovers her past connection with planet earth. As Marvel Entertainment explains, the part-Kree, part-human superhero, returns to earth in search of her identity and gets stuck in the middle of a galactic war between two alien races. It is a matter of great excitement for the Marvel fans. People on the internet went into some sort of a frenzy and claimed to have watched the trailer multiple times. In fact, several celebrities including 'The Avengers' star Chis Evans also reacted to the Captain Marvel trailer.

Previously, Marvel Entertainment in collaboration with the Entertainment Weekly revealed the first look of the upcoming superhero flick on September 6, a day after lead actress, Brie Larson teased the launch. The film jointly scripted and helmed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck is slated to hit the theatres on March 8, 2019.
