After releasing a behind-the-scenes first look of 'Cats', makers finally unveiled the trailer of the upcoming musical drama during San Diego Comic-Con 2019. The trailer featuring Taylor Swift, Jennifer Hudson, James Corden, Rebel Wilson as cats is an absolute treat to watch. Based on T.S. Eliot's 'Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats' which follows the story of the Jellicle cats, the trailer shows the struggle of the cats trying to start afresh. It shows that the cats are eyeing their group leader, Old Deuteronomy to select them and send to travel to Heave side layer where they will have a new life.

While Hudson is seen playing the role of Grizabella, a former "glamour cat", Swift will be essaying the role of Bombalurina. The highlights of the trailer include actress Rebel Wilson, who is loved for her comic roles, yet again stealing the limelight with her comic timing. The film is the first big-screen movie adaptation of Andrew Lloyd Webber's hit musical which won 6 Tony awards. The star-studded cast of the film includes Judi Dench (Old Deuteronomy), Rebel Wilson (Jennyanydots), Steven McRae (Skimbleshanks), Ian McKellen (Gus), Jason Derulo (Rum Tum Tugger) and Idris Elba (Macavity).
