The buzz for the eighth and final season was at its peak for the past few days, and the excitement reached a crescendo after the first episode premiered on Sunday. The show has even made it to Amul’s latest topical and that says it all about the massive popularity.

The dairy brand created a brilliant cartoon of the 'Amul girl' turning into Daenerys Targaryen, sitting on the Iron Throne (though laptops weren’t around in the time the show is set) and logging on to the computer with ‘GOT’ written at the back. Known for its creative captions, the topical called it the ‘Fame of Thrones’ and ‘Daenery’s Served.’

Earlier, Mumbai Police too had created a special post based on the show to assert its intent to protect the citizens of the city.

The first episode of the much-anticipated show, 'Game of Thrones' Season 8 saw a reunion of the Starks. From Jon Snow meeting Bran Stark and Arya Stark to Tyrion Lannister meeting Sansa Stark, who used to be his wife, the first episode of the final season brought many broken pieces together.

The preview of the second episode of the final season is out now too! And, it is not that pleasant. It shows Jamie Lannister arriving in Winterfell, and the first one to meet him is interestingly Bran Stark, the young boy who actually lost his legs because Jaime had pushed him down the building in the first season.
