‘Avengers: Infinity War’ left fans on the edge of their seats with its cliff-hanger climax. Needless to say, fans are waiting with bated breath for ‘Avengers 4’. The directors have now given an update about the status of the film. As per reports, director Anthony Russo recently revealed that they worked on the film throughout the summer and will now work on the reshoots. Anthony Russo reportedly said that he is excited to get to see the pieces of the film fall into place and the team will work on post-production through winter and fall.  ‘Avengers 4’ will reportedly see the characters time travel.

‘Avengers 4’ marks the end of the ‘Avengers’ franchise. The makers of Marvel’s ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ stunned fans as their much-loved characters disappeared in a heart-breaking climax. Die-hard fans of the Marvel comic universe have been looking for spoilers with a magnifying glass ever since. And seems like one such observant Twitter user put two and two together and, in the process, recently out a major ‘Avengers 4’ spoiler. Sharing a screenshot from Robert Downey Jr.’s interview dated to May 2018, the Twitter user rightly pointed out that the actor was on the sets of ‘Avengers 4’. But what is interesting is that the background in the picture is the same as that of Shuri’s lab which is basically proof that the two characters meet in Wakanda in ‘Avengers 4’.

Meanwhile, Marvel fans were left enthralled as Thanos and Tony Stark came face to face in 'Avengers: Infinity War'. However, during the course of the intense scene which features a heated battle between the two, the duo exchanged a few dialogues which indicated that Thanos is aware of who Tony Stark is.

Before their dramatic fight, Thanos tells Stark, "You’re not the only one cursed with knowledge", leaving fans confused about the connection between the duo. According to reports, co-directors Joe Russo and Anthony Russo, and screenwriters Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely have now opened up about the connection between Irom Man and Thanos.

Director Joe Russo had revealed that Thanos identified Tony as the one responsible for ruining his mission to capture power on Earth through Loki in the 2012 film 'The Avengers'. Russo stated that the Thanos recognises Stark as the person who rendered his plan useless. The makers also spoke about the connection between Stark and Thanos with reference to their goal which is to attain a path for a better future. They stated that Iron Man's journey as a genius scientist has been largely focussed on the evolution of his armour. Although Iron Man didn’t know Thanos by name, he has has been aware that something would threaten the Earth. Christopher Markus also shed light on the similarity between Thanos and Iron Man. He went on to add that both Thanos and Stark are mindful of something early on and are in a constant race to get smarter. He went on to add that Thanos is a futurist as much as Tony Stark. Stark became a superhero in order to save the planet after his family attained wealth through the sales of weapons.

'Avengers: Infinity War' directed by Anthony Russo and Joe Russo also saw Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Steve Rogers, Scarlett Johansson, and Benedict Cumberbatch among others that reprised their roles in the film which was the third instalment in the 'Avengers' series. The first film 'The Avengers' hit screens in 2012 while 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' released in 2015.
