Five things we noticed in the 'Jumanji: The Next Level' trailer

The sequel of the original Jumanji was released after almost a decade in the year 2017. Titled Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, the movie starred Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan, and Jack Black. This smash-hit film was an upgraded version of the first part. While in the first part the cast got stuck inside a board game, in its sequel we saw them stuck inside a video game. The producers are now working on a new sequel, Jumanji: The Next Level which is slated to release on December 13. The trailer of the third movie in the Jumanji franchise is out already, and we noticed a few things about the movie. Read ahead to know.

Things we noticed in the trailer of Jumanji: The Next Level

Differences

In the movie, Jumanji: Welcome to the jungle, the gang of teenagers who didn’t seem to go well initially, bonded when the movie progressed. But in this part, it seems like they have acknowledged their differences and things do not look good between them.

New character

While we love the original characters and the trailer revolves around them, it looks like there is a new face in the game. The character introduced is being played by Awkwafina who was seen in Ocean’s 8 and Crazy Rich Asians last year. Going by the trailer, it looks like she is inside the world of the video game and not a part of the real world.

Character change

Remember how star athlete Anthony Fridge Johnson got stuck in the game as Franklin Mouse Finbar, a zoologist with no athletic ability? This time he is back in the game but, as Professor Shelly Oberon, we noticed.

Nick Jonas is back

Nick Jonas is back in the game guys! This time it will be as McDonough, and we can’t wait to see who is controlling him.

Missing character

The trailer sees Spencer working hard on the game of Jumanji. Judging by his comment that the things with his friends are complicated, he makes a desperate effort to hold them together. But, when they arrive at Spencer’s grandpa’s house, he is already missing.
