The post uploaded by a Facebook user Vivian Gomez which has garnered over 5 million views reads:

“So I woke up Sunday morning and saw this on my camera and am trying to figure out…what the heck?? First I saw the shadow walking from my front door then I saw this thing….has anyone else seen this on their cameras?? The other two cameras didn’t pick it up for some reason.”

The video posted by her, shows a shadow exiting from her home and proceeding towards the road. The shadow then transforms into a small elf-like structure with floppy ears walking while wringing his hands as he walks down the road curiously with a duck-like gait.

The elf-like intruder resembled Dobby, the beloved elf from the Harry Potter series, a friend of Harry who 'helped' him in the Chamber of secrets and was set free by Harry in return. While the elf died in the final book of the series, saving Harry and his friends escape from Malfoy Manor, many netizens have rejoiced his resurrection, while some scream scared.
