The date isn't too far as the much anticipated Marvel venture 'Captain Marvel' is all set to hit the big screen in just about a month. Ahead of the same, the makers have released a new teaser of the superhero flick on Monday, February 4, during the Super Bowl. Marvel Entertainment has unveiled new footage of its upcoming superhero film featuring the lead cast- Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, Jude Law and Lashana Lynch.
In the short clip, Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel, played by Brie Larson can be seen trying to save Earth from an intergalactic conflict. She is featured in several avatars from training for the Air force to finally regaining her superpowers. Sharing the video on Twitter, Marvel Studios captioned the post saying, "HIGHER. FURTHER. FASTER. Watch the brand-new #CaptainMarvel spot that aired during the big game. See it in theatres March 8."

'Captain Marvel' narrates an all-new adventure from a previously unseen period in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It follows the journey of Carol Danvers as she evolves to be one of the most powerful heroes of the universe. It takes us to the flashback journey of the titular character, Carol Danvers, played by Brie Larson. She is featured as a part-Kree, part-human superhero who has had a childhood in the earth and has returned in search of her identity. However, she gets stuck in the middle of a galactic war between two alien races and finally takes up the charge to end the ongoing conflict.
In the trailer of the film that was released earlier, Carol seemed to be a bit confused at the beginning, looks confident and all charged up for a fight, by the end. She looks magnificent as she eventually discovers her powers. The film which is jointly scripted and helmed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck and is scheduled for a worldwide premiere on March 8, 2019.
