The end of 'Avengers: Infinity War' was a shocker for all of us. It shows the biggest MCU villain Thanos actually winning as he snaps his fingers and destroys half the universe. Now, the trailer of 'Avengers: Endgame' has also come out and it has sparked everyone's interest in the superhero extravaganza once more. Not only that, since the preview came out, the fan theories have flooded the internet with each day bringing out something new. However, the Russo brothers have just warned the fanboys to take it easy, for they may be in for a shock again.
Taking to Twitter, the Russo brothers changed their profiled picture to something that shows they're clearly trolling. It is the famous prank picture featuring Hugh Jackman, Jake Gyllenhaal and Ryan Reynolds, who plays the patsy in a hilarious picture. It shows, him wearing an ugly Christmas sweater and standing in the middle with an unamused expression as Hugh and Jake can be seen standing next to him and laughing.
Well, the makers of 'Avengers 4' uploaded the same picture but captioned Reynolds as 'Fans' while Hugh became 'Anthony Russo' and Jake became 'Joe Russo'.
For those who are unclear, it means that the two brothers just implied that they trolled Marvel fans with 'Infinity War' and there is a mighty good chance they might do so yet again. Even when the third Avengers film came out, they had shattered all the fan theories but the fans haven't learnt their lesson it seems. So maybe this time they should cool it with the ideas and have no expectations, for the Russo brothers are known to shock and surprise their audience.
However, they are also equally appreciative of the massive fan base, as they were humbled with the reception of the 'Avengers: Endgame' trailer.
