Kevin Hart heads back to work for 'Jumanji' month after car crash

Kevin Hart returned to work on the promotional campaign of his forthcoming offshoot to 'Jumanji' after recovering from injuries in a major car crash last month.

American comedian Kevin Hart, who met with a major accident last month, has headed back to work after rest and recovery. He met with a car crash in September this year and suffered a severe back injury. According to reports, he started working on the promotional campaign of his forthcoming offshoot to Jumanji. His co-stars in Jumanji: The Next Level Dwayne Johnson, Danny DeVito, and Danny Glover were really happy to see him back to work. The 40-year-old was present at work for hours on different days due to his professional commitment, even though he has not fully recovered.

Three people injured in the car crash

The Ride Along actor, along with two others was involved in a car accident in California last month. Hart and the person driving, Jared Black suffered an injury on their back for which they were taken to a hospital close by for treatment. Black was driving Hart's Plymouth which he bought for himself as a 40th birthday present. As per reports, Hart got three fractures in his spine in the crash while he was seated in the passenger seat of his vintage car. After receiving medical treatment for a month, he decided to return to work. He was shifted to an in-patient rehab for a period of 7 days before he was discharged.

Hart blamed for negligence 

The car changed its direction off the road and the accident occurred on the Mulholland Highway, California. Black's fiancee Rebecca Brozterman was also present in the car at the backseat at the time of the crash. However, she did not suffer any major injury like the other two. Black and Brozterman blamed the Jumanji actor for negligence since his car did not have the accurate safety features in it. The couple plans to sue the comedian for negligence which resulted in their injury. The matter is under investigation and authorities are trying to figure out the cause of the crash. Black too could be booked for the accident since he was driving the car.
