Jumanji actor Kevin Hart is going through a steady recovery period after undergoing surgery following his fatal car crash in the month of September. The comedian-actor recently posted a video on his official Instagram handle, that had him going through a proper workout cycle in a gym.

'Rebuilding'

In the post that he shared, the actor aimed to achieve new levels of greatness. The caption written by Hart began with- 'rebuilding people'. Hart then went on to say that he was not trying to get back to what he was before but was trying to reach new levels of greatness for himself. He said that everyone had that greatness factor within themselves but added that it was all up to an individual to explore that particular part. Hart then went on to say only an individual can know how capable he/she is. He also said that all one needs is a positive mindset and a positive outlook towards life, one has to just look for it.

A deadly car crash

The Central Intelligence actor is recovering from an accident that had him sustain severe injuries to his back after his 1970 Plymouth Barracuda, considered to be a powerful vintage car, crashed into a ditch after steering off the Mulholland Highway in Los Angeles county. According to reports, the driver, identified as Jared Black who also happens to be Hart's producer, lost control of the car and rolled into a gully.

Prayers poured in for the Night School actor with his former co-star Terry Crews who acted with Hart in Soul Plane, wished Hart to get well soon.

Hart's first public appearance since crash

Kevin Hart made his first official public appearance after his September car crash at the People's Choice Awards on November 10. During his speech after accepting an award at the event, Hart thanked god as he had started to appreciate life even more after his crash and also thanked his fans as he continued to struggle through his injuries.

Jumanji: The Next Level

On the work front, Hart will be seen in the Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle sequel, Jumanji: The Next Level wherein Karen Gillan, Jack Black, Nick Jonas, and Dwayne Johnson will be seen reprising their roles from the first installment. The movie is set to hit theatres on December 13. The movie will be helmed by Jake Kasdan and will be produced by Columbia Pictures.
