Game of Thrones' has always managed to grab the attention of the audience owing to the show's popularity and the eighth season is certainly not going to receive any different treatment. 'GoT' has a reputation for being unpredictable and for grasping the attention of the audience who have been following the series over the years, watching various characters being built up, and then brought to the fore and eventually being unceremoniously killed off. As the fans wait patiently for the release of the final season of the series, the buzz is that Kit Harrington, popularly known as Jon Snow, has dropped a massive hint about the eighth season. He believes that many of the 'Game Of Thrones' fans will be unhappy with the ending of the fantasy series. Citing other popular shows such as 'The Sopranos', 'Breaking Bad', and 'The Wire' that all had controversial endings as examples, he said that it is highly unlikely that the popular TV series will have a happy ending that will be loved by the fans. Reportedly, commenting on the subject, he stated that a TV series that has spanned around eight to nine years is incredibly a difficult thing to end.
Kit Harrington's character is one of the show's most popular characters, that was previously killed at the end of the season and the brought back to life, much to the delight of the fans. Earlier, in the TV series, it has been revealed that Jon Snow is not an illegitimate child of Ned Stark, but is actually his nephew, who was borne by his sister Lyanna and Prince Rhaegar Targaryen. Recently, commenting on the final season of the popular show, Harington's co-star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau who plays the role of Jamie Lannister had revealed that all the pieces of the puzzle fit together in the end.
Previously, HBO also unveiled the first footage of the final season of the TV series. In the video, glimpses of the upcoming finale of the show were seen. The footage shows the present King of North, Jon Snow hugging Sansa Stark that makes us want to believe that all is well between the Starks. The fans are also hoping to see the rebellious Arya Stark unite with her brother Jon Snow in this season. The two have not been seen on the show ever since they parted ways in the first season of the popular television series.
