After the full-trailer release of the live-action remake of 'The Lion King' in April, Disney has finally come out with the full-blown film, first reviews of which are tremendous. All social media platforms are buzzing with the remake also starring Seth Rogen as Pumbaa, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Scar, Billy Eichner as Timon, John Oliver as Zazu and James Earl Jones reprising his role as Mufasa.

"The Lion King ... was more than anything I ever could've wanted," one Twitter user wrote. While another remarked saying, "It's a visual masterpiece that will leave you smiling and crying the whole time."

The film will see Donald Glover lending his voice to the much-loved character of Simba. While John Oliver will be heard as Zazu and Seth Rogen will lend his voice to Pumbaa. With the screenplay written by Jeff Nathanson and songs by legends like Elton John and Time Rice, the movie will be directed by Jon Favreau. James Earl Jones, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Billy Eichner, and Alfre Woodard are also a part of the cast ensemble.
