Meghan Markle was a sight to behold as she walked down the aisle to her Prince who awaited her at the altar. Markle was the epitome of elegance and grace as she set foot into the royal family in her £200,000 Givenchy wedding gown. If reports are to be believed, Markle's exquisite bridal trousseau will soon be on public display at Windsor Castle.
On May 19, the world stood still as Meghan Markle stepped out of the luxury Phantom IV which ferried her to St George's Chapel with her mother. The former actress won over millions for her simplicity as she gracefully glided down the aisle in her pure white gown with a bateau neckline and sculpted waist. According to reports, officials at the Kensington Palace are in talks to exhibit the Duchess of Sussex's Givenchy gown at the 1,000-year-old castle. This is the same location was Markle exchanged vows with Prince Harry on May 19, 2018. Interestingly, Kate Middleton's Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen wedding gown which cost a rumoured $434,000 too was put on public display. Over 350,000 people gathered to see the Duchess of Cambridge’s gown which exhibited at Buckingham Palace in 2011. In addition to her wedding down, Middleton''s earrings, tiara, shoes, and replicas of her flower bouquet, and the wedding cake was also a part of the display.
Meanwhile, rumours are abuzz that the Duke and Dutchess of Sussex are currently expecting their first child. The reports of the two moving to Adelaide Cottage, the interior decor of which is designed to have provisions for a nursery, possibly gave rise to rumours of Markle's pregnancy. Earlier, Prince Harry also sold his Audi R8, leading to speculations that the royal couple was indeed planning for a bigger family, and hence wanted to get a more family oriented car.
Meanwhile, on May 23, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry made their first public appearance post their marriage. As it was earlier reported, the newlyweds arrived at Buckingham Palace in London to attend an afternoon garden party in honour of Prince Charles, ahead of his 70th birthday. Prince Harry delivered a speech next to Prince Charles, Charles' wife Camilla, and Meghan.
