People have given a huge thumbs up to the underwater action-adventure film and have praised it to high heavens. One netizen called it one of the finest movies of 2018, which is truly very high praise. Another one called it a piece of art and claimed that they would watch it a second time. Calling director James Wan the saviour, they also proclaimed that Amber Heard, Nicole Kidman, and Patrick Wilson are the heart of the film. One more Twitterati called it a visual treat and the sounds effects as superb.
