Chris Evan’s gentlemanly gesture towards Regina King has left the netizens swooning over him. So much so that, that his on-screen mother Jamie Lee Curtis also gushed over him and the ‘Avengers’ star’s ‘that means a lot’ response just made it all the more fun.

While his good looks are often considered irresistible, the hunk was among the best-dressed of the evening in a velvet suit. However, it’s how he helped Regina King on her way up to the stage to collect the Best Supporting Actress in what is making headlines.

As the actress stood up after being announced as the winner, she seemed to struggle to move ahead with her gown. Chris, who was seated next to her, immediately offered his strong arms for her to hold and helped her halfway through the stairs. 

Netizens were tremendously awestruck with the actor’s gesture and wrote about him being ‘gentleman on and off screen’, proposing to him, calling him ‘imaginary boyfriend’ and even demanded he be given the Oscars for being 'the sweetest man.'

Even Jamie Lee Curtis, who plays his mother in ‘Knives Out’, called him a ‘gentleman’ and hashtagged him as ‘raised well’, apart from of course, being handsome and well-groomed. Chris even replied and gave his fans another reason to love him.
