MNS chief Raj Thackeray paid tribute to Marvel Comics creator and editor Stan Lee following his recent demise. The politician who is also a professional cartoonist dedicated a doodle to the global icon. He took to Twitter and shared the cartoon where he portrayed Lee flying high bidding goodbye to his superheroes. The picture read Lee saying, 'GOODBYE MY SUPERHEROS, DO TAKE CARE OF MY PLANET!'.  Thackeray captioned the post saying, "THE CREATOR OF THE INCREDIBLE WORLD OF MARVEL COMICS, ‘STAN LEE’ RECENTLY PASSED AWAY. Marvel legend Stan Lee passed away on Monday, November 12 at the age of 95. Marvel confirmed the news of Stan Lee's death on Tuesday, November 13 and the news came as a shock to the Marvel fans. As per media reports, an ambulance was called to his Hollywood Hills home owing to a medical emergency and Lee was taken to the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Monday morning where he succumbed to death. He was not keeping well for a while and was hospitalised in February as he suffered some major medical ailments. 

Stan Lee has created several iconic Marvel superheroes including Iron Man, Spiderman, Black Panther, and Thor. He is the one, who united the superheroes in 'The Avengers' franchise. Lee had started Marvel comics along with Jack Kirby in 1961 and his first creation was 'Fantastic Four'.

Several celebrities across the world including Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, and Robert Downey Jr., Sonam Kapoor, Anupam Kher, among others have mourned the demise of the Marvel legend. They took to social media to pay tribute to the 'Excelsior' and remembered how he had a huge contribution in shaping the childhood of many.
