Hollywood star Angelina Jolie added a new twist to the ongoing divorce battle with husband actor Brad Pitt as she replaced her lawyer Laura Wasser. As per reports, Wasser stepped down from her position as the 'Lara Croft: Tomb Raider' star considered Samantha Bley Dejean more efficient in dealing with the protection of children. As per reports, Jolie's spokesperson, Mindy Nyby revealed the information and said that Jolie appreciated Wasser's cooperation in transitioning the case over the past several weeks.

The latest reports of the mutual agreement of the couple over their children's custody are also in question. The estranged couple who reportedly agreed to abide by a custody agreement, which gave them 50-50 custody. Their current situation seems to be in for a complete change as the 43-year-old actress has decided to fight for settlement. Reportedly, Jolie had to hire an attorney from San Fransisco, Samantha Bley Dejean since all other attornies in Los Angeles refused to take up her case as she parted with her former attorney Laura Wasser.

Samantha is now in full charge of Jolie's ongoing divorce settlement case with Brad Pitt, that was filed in September 2016. The estranged couple has been fighting for the custody of their six children- Maddox (17), Pax (14), Zahara (13), Shiloh (12), and 10-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox. According to the current applied conditions, Jolie has the primary custody of the children and Pitt was allowed to meet them for four hours on school days, and 12 hours on holidays. Reportedly, the actress had previously complained that Pitt had not provided enough money for child-support since their separation. She had also accused Pitt of being a careless father. However, in reply, the 'Fight Club' star reportedly said that he had filed for a loan of $8 million to help the actress buy a house.

Jolie and Pitt tied the knot in 2014 after years of courtship. They have worked in several films together including the 2005 action-thriller 'Mr. & Mrs. Smith' and 2015 romantic drama 'By the Sea' that was directed by Jolie herself. Jolie was previously married to Lee Miller and Billy Bob Thornton while Brad Pitt was previously married to 'F.R.I.E.N.D.S' star Jennifer Aniston. Pitt and Aniston were married for 5 years and got divorced in 2005. Jennifer then got married to actor Justin Theroux in a secret ceremony in Los Angeles in 2015. However, the couple announced their split in February 2018. Speculations were rife that Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston were getting back together after both of them separated from their respective partners.
