  • The final trailer of 'Fantastic Beast: The Crime of Grindelwald' makes for a few interesting moments, particularly for Potterheads
  • The movie is directed by David Yates, from a screenplay by J.K. Rowling and is slated to release on November 16

The final trailer of the ‘Fantastic Beasts: The crime of the Grindelwald’ has the internet left amazed and shocked as Potterheads have realised that Nagini, Lord Voldemorts loyal servant and one of the horcrux is indeed a woman.

JK Rowling who is the author and the creator of the wizarding world had to take to Twitter to answer questions related to Nagini being a woman.

There are many other moments in the trailer that has raised the anticipation for the release of the film. A very young Dumbledore is seen in the trailer of the film. We get the answer to the question Harry Potter had asked Dumbledore in the first film -Harry Potter and The Philosophers' stone.  Now we know, Dumbledore sees his friend-turned-arch nemesis Grindelwald and not socks in the Mirror of Erised. Is this the reason why Dumbledore, played by Jude Law, delayed meeting Grindelwald (Johnny Depp)? Dumbledore famously defeated Grindelwald in 1945 ending the global wizarding war.

At the end of the first film, the powerful Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald (Johnny Depp) was captured by MACUSA (Magical Congress of the United States of America), with the help of Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne). But, making good on his threat, Grindelwald escaped custody and has set about gathering followers, most unsuspecting of his true agenda: to raise pure-blood wizards up to rule over all non-magical beings.

Meanwhile, Ezra Miller returns as Credence, who was apparently destroyed in the first film by the American Ministry of Magic. However, going by the trailer, it seems that Credence is still alive and in the events of the film, he relies most on Nagini.

In the trailer, it is revealed that Grindelwald is out to destroy the peace that is maintained between the wizarding and non-wizarding(or the muggles as they are known) world and Newt is appointed to destroy him by none other than Dumbledore.

'Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald” is directed by David Yates, from a screenplay by J.K. Rowling and is slated to release on November 16.
