Who will sit on the Iron Throne? That’s the main question Twitterati are asking as the makers of ‘Game Of Thrones’ release 20 new character posters ahead of the final season. The teasers have definitely left the audience and fans in anxiety.
To begin with, Night King finally features on an official poster, the man who could destroy all of them, sits on the Iron Throne. The other posters feature Daenerys Targaryen, Jon Snow, Sansa Stark, Bran Stark, Arya Stark, Brienne of Tarth, Cersei Lannister, Jaime Lannister, Tyrion Lannister, Ser Davos Seaworth, Euron Greyjoy, Grey Worm, Ser Jorah Mormont, Melisandre, Missandei, Samwell Tarly, Theon Greyjoy, Lord Varys and The Hound.
Definitely some surprises came across with the posters, as one can never predict how the story turns in GOT. Characters like Melisandre, Missandei and Grey Worm are not the big players fighting for the throne.
Talking about the costumes, Sansa Stark is seen wearing her battle suit. Cersei, who is yet to realise the gravity of the threat coming towards her, is seen in a red suit. Meanwhile, Daenerys Targaryen is killing it in the red gloves. People are loving Jon Snow’s poster as it resembles with his father Ned Stark. Arya Stark is seen posing with her sword Needle, while Bran poses in a blue robe and we wonder why?
Talking of the loyalists of the Starks, Brienne of Tarth, The Hound, Davos and Sam Tarly, are also seen sitting on the throne.
It is evident that the final season of Game of Thrones will be dramatic and high on action. Before the posters, makers also dropped in a teaser that showed ‘Winter is Coming’ as the Wall falls and The Night King arrives with his dragon. Arya Stark is stunned seeing the dragon. Another teaser trailer featured statues of Jon Snow, Sansa Stark, and Arya Stark in a crypt.
While the fans speculate the theories around the posters and also wonder about the characters missing from the posters, we sure can't wait to see what the makers have in store for their fans. With the Season 8 starting April 14 onwards, looks like ‘the end is near’.
