Although, the 'Thor' actor found shooting in India an 'intimidating but exciting experience', he stated that he always felt like a rockstar in doing so. The actor was in India in 2018 shooting for his Netflix project, 'Dhaka'. In an interview with a leading media publication, Hemsworth revealed the real reason behind naming his daughter after the country. Directed by F. Gary Gray, the movie also stars Rebecca Ferguson and Kumail Nanjiani. Based on the comic book series, the 'Men in Black' movie franchise kicked off in 1997."MIB: International" will hit the theatres in June 2019.
Apart from Hemsworth, the legendary South African fielder Jonty Rhodes also named his daughter India, as the country has a rich mix of culture, heritage, and tradition and also because he loves the combination.
