James Wan, who is producing the upcoming horror film, recently shared the first look of Annabelle on his Instagram account as it can be seen placed in an artefact room of the Warrens. She can be seen surrounded by other haunted artifacts including the music box that was featured in 'The Conjuring'. In the caption, Wan revealed that this time the doll wouldn't just have cameos but this film will be completely centred on it. He also announced the release date of the horror film.

"OK, maybe she has snuck cameos in my other recent films (which I won't confirm or deny), BUT... she'll very definitely be up front and center on this one! The real next chapter of THE CONJURING Universe. On June 28th #AnnabelleComesHome Directed by Gary Dauberman," he wrote in the post.

Fans have been going crazy ever since the first look of the spooky doll unveiled. Social media platforms are flooded with reactions ever since the picture surfaced. They have expressed their excitement and claimed to have been eagerly-waiting for the horror film to release.

On, Saturday, March 16, the horror movie powerhouse announced that the sixth title in 'The Conjuring' universe, is titled 'Annabelle Comes Home' and is all set to hit the theaters on June 28, 2019. 'Annabelle Comes Home' is all set to release in India in four languages--English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.

Meanwhile, Warner Bros reportedly revealed information about the plot of the third installment of the 'Annabelle'. As per media reports, the Annabelle threequel resumes after the Warrens bring the Annabelle doll home and store it inside their famous museum of Haunted artifacts. Although they believed Annabelle's power was reduced and she was in the place where she could no longer wreak havoc: their Artifacts Room. But the obnoxious devil finds its way to awaken the room’s evil which sets its sights on a new target- the Warrens’ ten-year-old daughter Judy. However, the young girl, along with her teenage babysitter cousin and the cousin’s friend, square off against the evil doll.

The upcoming project is scripted and directed by Gary Dauberman. In fact, he will mark his directorial debut with the upcoming venture. American actors Patrick Wilson and Vera  Farmiga reprised their roles in the third 'Annabelle' installment as paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren, respectively. This is for the first time in 'The Conjuring' universe, that Ed and Lorraine will appear in one of the film series’ spinoff title. The pair who previously marked their appearance as the lead in 2013's 'The Conjuring' and 2016's 'The Conjuring 2' has won the hearts of the audience with their performance. However, the actors will reportedly be in a supporting capacity in the film.
