WATCH: Will Smith Bungee Jumps Out Of A Helicopter Into The Grand Canyon

  • The actor decided to celebrate his 50th birthday with the thrilling feat after a dare was issued to him.

To the fans delight, American actor Will Smith live streamed his extraordinary stunt of bungee jumping out of a helicopter into the Grand Canyon and the whole world received an opportunity to watch it. Hosted by Will Smith's former co-star Alfonso Ribeiro, the live-stream, which aired on the actor's YouTube channel started with Smith arriving in a camper with his wife Jada Pinkett Smith and three kids namely Trey, Jaden and Willow. Will Smith's mother Caroline Bright was also present at the spot. 

Taking to Instagram, hours before the jump, the actor posted a picture of him and his family and captioned it as 'squad'. Many fans seized the moment to wish him a 'Happy Birthday', while others tagged the picture saying that he has the 'coolest family' ever.

Back in March, the content creators of his YouTube channel 'Yes Theory' challenged the actor to bungee jump from a helicopter. The 'I Am A Legend' actor accepted on the condition that the jump would be done over the Grand Canyon and the benefit would be sent to Global Citizen, an organisation that works to combat poverty and hunger all over the world.

Before starting the stunt, the actor posted a video on Instagram of all the tests going on at the location, so that the stunt could be performed in a proper manner.

However, this is not the first time the actor has Bungee jumped. Earlier, the actor had taken the plunge in 2017 over Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe, Africa. The same was documented on his YouTube channel. On the work front, the 'Men In Black' star has three projects on hand including the 'Aladdin', 'Spies in Disguise' and 'Gemini Man', which are all slated to release in 2018.
