'We saw a video of Indians watching Avengers: Infinity War, it sounded like a football stadium' - Endgame director Joe Russo

Ahead of his Asia tour, 'Avengers: Endgame' director Joe Russo visited India to launch Marvel's Indian Anthem for the film. He addressed a huge Indian crowd and thanked them for the love and support they have bestowed upon the superhero franchise.

Following a massive response from India on 'Avengers: Infinity War', makers are now expecting a huge turnout for the 'Endgame' as well. Marvel Studios is releasing the Hollywood venture in several Indian languages including- Hindi, Tamil, and Telegu.

Ahead of his Asia tour, 'Avengers: Endgame' director Joe Russo visited India to launch Marvel's Indian Anthem for the film. He addressed a huge Indian crowd and thanked them for the love and support they have bestowed upon the superhero franchise.

Addressing the crowd following the launch, Joe said, "These movies are about speaking to a global audiance. The way India responded to 'Infinity War' was just overwhelming. The reason we make these movies are for you and it was very touching to my brother and I. In fact, we have e recording of Indian audiance watching the film, and when Thor arrives it Wakanda, it just souded like a football stadium. In our low moments, we would pull up that 30 sec recording and listen to Indian fans, and it keeps us going. So, thank you"

When asked if the upcoming venture is going to be the most exciting Marvel venture, the director affirmed saying, "Without a question. This is the conclusion. Everything has been buiding to this movie for 11 years. There is a reason its called the 'Endgame'."

'Avengers: Endgame' is going to be the fourth and final venture of the Avengers franchise. It is the 22nd instalment in the Marvel Comic Universe. The flick brings together all the Marvel superheroes, played by actors including Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Benedict Cumberbatch, Don Cheadle, Tom Holland, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Letitia Wright, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana, Chris Pratt, Jeremy Renner, Evangeline Lilly, Jon Favreau, and Paul Rudd. In fact, Oscar-winning actress Brie Larson who debut in MCU as Captain Marvel recently will also be a part of the film. Meanwhile, actor Josh Brolin will also resume the role of Thanos in the upcoming venture following 'Avengers Infinity War'.

'Endgame' is a direct sequel to 'Infinity War' from the last year. Directed by the Russo Brothers, the film is all set to release in India on April 26, 2019.
