'Who will save you from yourself?': Will Smith's 'Gemini Man' trailer is packed with action, emotion and mind-blowing twists

The trailer of Will Smith's upcoming venture 'Gemini Man' dropped recently and it looks intriguing from the very first visuals. The film which is described as a science fiction film features Smith in a double role.

The trailer of Will Smith's upcoming venture 'Gemini Man' dropped recently and it looks intriguing from the very first visuals. The film which is described as a science fiction film features Smith in a double role.

The trailer released by Paramount Pictures on Tuesday, April 23, features him as an elite assassin Henry Bergen who is being targeted by a mysterious young operative. With unmatchable skills, Henry seems to be a pro at his job, however, the young operative is no less as he can seemingly predict his every move. Being an ageing assassin as Henry seeks to exit his career, he finds himself tracked down by his younger operative who is apparently assigned to kill him. Eventually, the actor discovers that his killer is no one but a younger version of himself, who has been created with scientific experiments 25 years back.

Sharing the trailer on Twitter, Paramount pictures revealed that the film is all set to hit the theatres on October 11, 2019. The production house captioned the post saying, "Who will save you from yourself? From visionary director Ang Lee and Academy Award nominee Will Smith comes @GeminiManMovie. Watch the official #GeminiMan trailer now. In theatres 10.11.19."

The film helmed by director Ang Lee also stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Benedict Wong, and Clive Owen in the lead. Backed by Paramount Pictures the film will be distributed in India by Viacom18 Motion Pictures.
