Victorious was one of the most popular music-based TV shows that aired in the US. Here is why the renowned TV show was called off after third season by makers.

In 2013, Nickelodeon announced the closure of two of its most-watched shows. The Dan Schneider produced Victorious and iCarly marked the end of their airing schedules. The show was cancelled after running three successful seasons on the popular cable TV network. After Victorious was discontinued from production, fans were devastated and wanted to know the reason behind it. Here is why the popular running show was discontinued after three seasons in 2013:

A Blame game between the lead co-stars of the show:

Even today, many of the fans of the popular music-based TV series question why did Victorious get cancelled. The answer to this is probably the feud between the leading actors from the Victorious. When the show ended its term back in 2013 with a successful third season, many fans questioned why did Victorious end. According to a leading entertainment portal, the fans blamed Ariana Grande to be the reason for the end of the show. They accused that her working for a spinoff, Sam & Cat was the reason the makers cancelled Victorious’ seasons in future.

Ariana Grande was prompt to reply. She took to Twitter and said that it was not her who made the show end. Ariana said that if it were not an actor making a solo tour and having a cast tour instead, the authorities would have sanctioned the future Victorious seasons. By saying so, Ariana Grande shifted the burden of getting the show cancelled to her co-star, Victoria Justice. She also added that if the cast tour had happened, the fans would have had another season of Victorious while she simultaneously would have starred in Sam & Cat.

Victoria Justice, in a now-deleted tweet, replied quickly saying that some people would throw the flak to people whom they talk to be friends with, to look good in front of the audience. Later, she also took to the outlets and said that everything that has been provided to them is nothing but misinformation. The actor said that she was not involved in the cancellation of their show. She also added the reason Victorious got cancelled was subject to Nickelodeon and the executives, and that she loved the cast and the show. Thus, the actual reason behind why did Victorious get cancelled happens to be unknown.

Are Ariana and Victoria friends?

Recently, when Victoria was asked when was the last time she talked to Ariana Grande, in an interview with a leading portal, she said that it was when Ariana released her latest song. Victoria Justice also added that she keeps on commenting and complementing Ariana Grande on her songs and outfits all the time. Victoria and Ariana’s friendship was also evident when the Victoria Justice showed sympathy and concern for Ariana Grande after the tragic Manchester Bombing that happened in Ariana’s concert.
