Hollywood actor Will Smith unveiled the first poster of his upcoming film 'Aladdin' on Wednesday, October 10. The actor took to Instagram and to post the poster featuring the magic lamp of Aladdin ahead of a blue background. The actor who is all set to take up the role of Genie, the comical Jinn who has the nigh-omnipotent power to grant three wishes to whoever possesses his magic lamp, teased the release of the film in the post saying that he can't wait to get out of the magic lamp.
The 'Suicide Squad' actor, captioned the post as saying, "LEMME OUT!! ?? Can't wait for y'all to see Me BLUE!"

The musical romantic fantasy adventure film is a live-action adaptation of Disney's 1992 animated film of the same name, which is in turn based on the Arab-style folktale of the same name from 'One Thousand and One Nights' and its French interpretation by Antoine Galland. The 1992 venture which was directed by Guy Ritchie, was widely lauded by the audiences and critics alike, following which it bagged two Oscars.
The upcoming venture is also directed by Guy Ritchie and is jointly scripted by Ritchie, John August and Vanessa Taylor. It will be produced by Dan Lin and Marc Platt under the banner of Walt Disney Pictures. Besides Will Smith, the film stars Mena Massoud as Aladdin, Naomi Scott as Princess Jasmine, Marwan Kenzari as Jafar, Navid Negahban as The Sultan, Nasim Pedrad as Dalia, Billy Magnussen as Prince Anders and Numan Acar as Hakim.
The filming of the classic tale began in September 2017, and the principal photography was conducted in Longcross Studios in Surrey, England, and in the Wadi Rum Desert in Jordan. Smith who signed on to voice Genie in July 2017, was one of the first members to join the cast. 'Aladdin' is scheduled to release in the United States of America on May 24, 2019. Reportedly, it will replace the original release date that was set for 'Star Wars: Episode IX'.
