Akshay Kumar fought for a toilet so that he can get back his love, but for Pichku (Tathastu) it is his sole love. The trailer of Nila Madhab Panda's 'Halkaa' released on August 6 and is the story about a boy who desires to use a clean toilet. The trailer begins with introducing Pichku as Amitabh Bachchan as he is the hero of the film. As every hero has his heroine, Pichku too has one -a toilet. He dreams of god clean toilet and this movie his struggle to get one built in his slum.

Nitin Dixit has done an incredible job with dialogues. The personification used for toilet will help make you understand the importance of it. A salesman at a bathroom accessories store describes the commode as,"When you sit on this, you will begin a new day and you can also flush off your past."

Well, like every love story, this film too has a villain. While most times it is the girl's father, but in Pichku's story, it is his father who is pulling him back. Ranvir Shorey plays the father, who perfectly seems to fit the bill of a disgruntled man who always seems suspicious of his son. Pichku has his Dharmendra, his friend who helps him in his fight to build a toilet.

The film also focuses on the issue of using railway tracks as a urinal, where thousands can see them. The boy questions as to who is right, those who urinate in the public or him, who is fighting for a toilet. When Pichku and his friend ask funds for building a toilet from a Government official, they are abused and shooed away, highlighting another class-based menace.

Popular trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy sets the mood of the film with their music. All in all the film traces the journey of a kid who dreams of not just a toilet, but a clean one. HIs inconvenience in using the current toilet is seen, where he has to close his nose and use incense sticks to do his daily ritual.  The film produced by Roshni Nadar Malhotra releases on September 7.
