Housefull 4: The crew returns for the 4th installment of the franchise

Housefull 4 is reported to be the most expensive comedy movie that Bollywood has ever seen. After the accomplishment of the previous three films of the Housefull franchise, the producer Sajid Nadiadwala reportedly did not refrain from spending money when it came to Housefull 4. The film is directed by Farhad Samjhi, and in an interview, the director said that Housefull 4 is a period comedy. He also said that the clothes and look of the film have been on such a different scale that it proved to be a challenge for the movie's creators.

Housefull 4 cast

The Housefull 4 cast includes - Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Kriti Sanon, Kriti Kharbanda, Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, Rana Daggubati, Amanda Rosario, Boman Irani, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and others. The film was going to be directed by Sajid Khan, but he was reportedly asked to leave after the #MeToo controversy, and so was Nana Patekar. Sajid Khan was replaced by Farhad Samjhi and Nana Patekar was replaced by Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Housefull 4 is scheduled for a release on October 25, 2019.

The plot of Housefull 4

The plot of Housefull 4 revolves around the theme of reincarnation with a touch of comedy. The fourth instalment of Housefull is expected to offer a hilarious spin on reincarnation. The first half of Housefull 4, which is set in the 15^th century, Akshay Kumar will have a different look as a king. One of his pictures from the movie went viral, where he was seen flaunting a bald look. Bobby Deol reportedly will have long hair in his portion of the 15^th century. Since Chunky Pandey's character, Aakhri Pasta, was that of a half-Italian the makers of the movie reportedly found it difficult to fit him in the 15^th century.

Housefull 4 also has two cinematographers capturing the two eras - the 15^th and the 21^st century. There were multiple reshoots that took place due to the removal of Nana Patekar, which reportedly made Housefull 4 the most expensive film so far. Chunky Pandey (Akhri Pasta) will be seen playing the role of Vasco-Da-Gama's nephew in his past life. It is reported that the past life of the actors was shot in Rajasthan while the present life was shot in London. The benchmark set by all the previous films of the Housefull franchise is higher, fans are hoping that Housefull 4 will live up to their expectations.
