After unveiling the motion poster of the pivotal characters from the film 'Thugs Of Hindostan', the makers have brought life to the characters in the trailer of the film. The three-and-a-half-minute long trailer reveals the premise of the film and gives an insight into Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan's character. The film is set during the time when the British ruled the country. The British came into India under the pretext of doing business through the East India  Company in the year 1795, but ended up making the natives slaves and ruled them for years.

While several became their slaves for the fear of facing consequences, some revolted against the idea and fought fervently for the country's freedom. The movie is about Azaad (Amitabh Bachchan), who comes off as a brave old warrior who fights against the British soldiers. Amitabh Bachchan's coarse voice and adds impact to his role of a warrior and the well-written dialogues give a good dramatic appeal.  He is accompanied by Zafira (Fatima Sana Shaikh), who plays a fierce warrior.

The British who are threatened by Azaad, decide to hire a thug who can defeat Azaad. Enter the Firangi sailor (Aamir Khan), who willingly takes up the task given by the British. His character is very carefree and feels that he is a 'firang' from within. However, it is shown in the trailer that he has a change of mind and joins Azaad's troupe. Aamir Khan's look in the film is very interesting and is in complete contrast to the roles he has played in recent. Katrina Kaif is seen as a court dancer in the trailer. However, much has not been revealed about her character in the film.

There is a lot of war-like sequences that follow, most of them on the sea. While the shots on the ground seem pretty realistic, the sequences involving ships seem like they have come out straight from a video game. The dialogues and performance by the cast are what raises the anticipation around the film.

The film directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and produced by Yash Raj Films is slated to release on November 8.
