'Aashiqui 2' starring Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur had some of the most popular songs which are relevant even today. The song 'Tum Hi Ho' from the film was certainly one of the most iconic tracks from the film. Now, the makers of the film brought to light something truly strange in connection to the famous song.
Mohit Suri who directed the film and Mithoon who composed the scores and songs brought attention to the fact that American rapper T Pain actually plagiarised the background score for Tum Hi Ho. Taking to Twitter, he had shared a video of his new song called 'That's Yo Money' which had the exact same track as the romantic number from 'Aashiqui 2'. After being brought to his attention and facing flak from lots of Indian netizens, he has since taken it down. However, the matter did not end just there.
The rapper took to the microblogging platform and made some alleged racist comments calling the Indian fans as 'brown Twitter'. He clarified that he did not compose the beat and that it was provided for by his producer. Pain also said that his label will get in touch with the original one. Mohit Suri was further enraged by his comments and called T-Pain 'shameless'. Looks like it is brewing into a full-blown controversy.
