Oscar-winning musician AR Rahman attended the 61st annual Grammy Awards function on Sunday at the Staples Center in Los Angeles with his daughter Raheema. The Music Maestro shared a number of pictures from the Award ceremony on Instagram where he was seen donning a black and grey suit while Raheema dazzled in an all-black attire.
He was seen attending Grammys with London-based Prashant Mistry, New York-based Falguni Shah and US-based Satnam Kaur, who were nominated in different categories for their albums 'Symbol', 'Falu's Bazaar' and 'Beloved' respectively. However, none of them could register a win at the biggest music awards night of the year. Rahman also shared pictures of Dolly Parton's tribute performance at the ceremony as well as a video of Lady Gaga's energetic act on 'Shallow'.

He also extended greetings to veteran musician Quincy Jones for winning his 28th Grammy. Congratulating the composer, Rahman shared a picture of him and wrote, "Mr Quincy Jones wins his 28th grammy on his 86th year ... music keeps us going forever I guess 😍"

Also, Lady Gaga who recently appeared in the hit film 'A Star Is Born' opposite Bradley Cooper bagged 3 awards. The pair together won the Grammy Award for best pop duo/group performance for the song 'Shallow' from 'A Star Is Born.'
