Lata Mangeshkar puts rumours of hospitalisation to rest, here's what she said

Lata Mangeshkar is one of the most universally admired personalities. Fondly known as the 'Nightingale of India', she is also a Bharat Ratna recipient, which is one of the highest civilian honour that the Indian government can bestow. However, the veteran singer is also over 89 years old and lately, some worrying rumours started spreading about her health.

There were reports doing the rounds that the singer is really unwell and has been admitted to a hospital. After this information came out, thousands of fans took to social media to inquire about her health and express their concerns. However, Lata finally responded to her fans and rubbished these rumours. Taking to Twitter, she said that there are some rumours doing the rounds regarding her health, but she implored her well-wishers to not believe in it. She added that she is completely healthy and that she is at her house and not hospitalised. Here's what she route, "Namaskar. Meri sehat ke baare mein kuch afwaahein uth rahi hain Lekin aap in par vishwas na karein. Main bilkul swasth hun aur apne ghar mein hun."

Following her clarification on social media, her relieved fans also responded and wished for her long life. While some praised her and told her how important she is to them, others lamented on the fact that people have resorted to such levels and spread lies to get fame.
